Veteran’s Day 2014

American FlagTake a moment to consider all the sacrifices veterans have made so the rest of us don’t have to truly worry about international threats. Through the years it has been American service men and women who have been willing to stand up and say “send me” when situations have been most crucial and when our citizens had their freedom and liberty threatened. It takes an exceptional type of bravery, beyond that which many of us possess, to put it all on the line and answer the call on behalf of their countrymen.

Beyond combat and defense, our service personnel are also sent around the world to provide disaster relief during the worst natural disasters as well as humanitarian efforts, such as the current mission fighting Ebola in Africa.

Happy Veteran’s Day and here’s to a peaceful and prosperous future for us all!

The Badlees

A Tribute to the Badlees

Tonight at Mauch Chunk Opera House in Jim Thorpe, PA will be the final performance by The Badlees of 2014 and, quite possibly, ever. After nearly a quarter century of musical excellence, dating back to 1990, the members of this Pennsylvania band are going their separate ways. Modern Rock Review has updated its career-spanning Profile of The Badlees, which offers 14 pages of stories, perspectives, images, videos, and related articles that talk about every important event from the group’s origins through the present day.

The Badlees have been a 33 Dimensions client since 2010, and we have implemented three distinctive design layouts at Badlees.com over that time period. Knowing each of the band members personally, I can also say that these are a great group of guys who have ridden the rock and roll roller-coaster from humble beginnings to national success and international tours, all while remaining personable and down-to-earth with their extremely loyal fan base. I wish them the best in their future endeavors.

The 2014 award was announced earlier this week and continues a successive streak which began in 1999, This award follows the “Best of Harrisburg” award that Cornerstone received from Susquehanna Style magazine earlier this summer.

Cornerstone Coffeehouse Redesign

Cornerstone Responsive Design 2014

33 Dimensions has redesigned the website for Cornerstone Coffeehouse in Camp Hill, PA, making the site fully responsive and offering a better overall user experience.

The design starts with a simple landing page, which displays the three main services offered by Cornerstone – Coffeehouse, Culinary Kitchen, and Catering. The coffeehouse option leads to a WordPress site with a multi-level drop down to navigate to all the various store menus, blogs, music, art, and calendar of events at the popular establishment.
